Plan Description
Three Bedroom Home Plan- 1800 Square Feet, 3 Bedroom and 2.5 Bathroom Brick with Arched Windows
French Country Home Plan 56904 | This charming 1,800 square foot, 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath split plan offers volume ceilings, large open kitchen with views to the living room and back yard, space for an optional office or second closet for the master suite, walk in pantry, lots of storage, and a master suite fit for a king and queen. The beautiful exterior styling is timeless and also budget friendly. With all this and much more, this plan is perfect for you and your family.
French Country Home Plan With Private Rear Porch
Choose French Country Home Plan 56904 for your new construction home. Firstly, this design is replete with curb appeal, and it will fit into just about any new development. We love the combination of light tan and red brick siding. Arched windows and board and batten siding lend to the French Country styling. Plus, homeowners will appreciate the side-load garage because the garage doors are hidden from the street side view.
Secondly, the plan is a good combination of spaces to entertain or seek privacy. Inside, we find open living space among the great room, kitchen, and dining spaces. When it comes time to entertain, you will suffer no separation from your guests. They will gather in the kitchen at the island, share a meal with you at the dining table, and then recline in a comfortable chair in front of the fireplace in the great room. Note the special features as well: the great room has a 10'6 ceiling, and the kitchen has access to a walk-in pantry.
3 Bedroom Brick Home Plan
Thirdly, this home plan offers 3 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms. The split floor plan is popular because Mom and Dad's room is on the opposite end of the house from the children's bedrooms. As a result, the master suite is more private. The master bedroom in French Country Home Plan 56904 measures 14' wide by 15'6 deep, and it has a 10' ceiling. Interestingly, there is a second walk in closet in the master suite that can be used instead as a home office if desired.
Over on the left side of the house, we find the children's bedrooms. They share a large guest bathroom which is split between the bath/toilet side and the sink side. Other notable features of this home plan include the following: several storage areas, half bath, good sized laundry room, gas log fireplace, and jetted tub in the master bath.

Previous Q & A
Q:When choosing the basement, will the main level square footage change? If so, how much does it increase? Also, are any real photos available? Thank you. Greg
A:The main level heated footage of the basement option will become approximately 34 sf larger due to the addition of the basement stairs. See the floorplan labeled "Alternate Level One" on the website to see the basement stair location.
Q:I am concerned about rain running down the roof valley(Garage roof valley meets highest middle roof valley) to the right of the front door exterior wall. Is there a potential leak problem if there is extreme rain conditions with that water runoff? Maybe it is an optical illusion. Do you have a better picture with another angle of the roof? This is the picture where the garage doors are on the side of the house. Thanks
A:The roof is designed so that the front pitch extends all the way to the corner of the stoop. Therefore the roof is sloped along the entire surface of the brick wall eliminating any "flat" spots. A gutter would be placed along the garage roof to capture runoff before it reaches the front steps.
Q:What is the material used on the exterior area that is not brick - specifically on the left front area of the house that appears a green or beige tone. Thanks
A:The whole house is brick....those areas are just painted.
Thanks,
Jason
