A: The footprint of the unfinished basement for this plan is exactly the same as for the main floor. The ceiling height in the basement is 8 feet.
A: We have 8'-10" from the concrete slab to the top of the main floor. There is 14 risers at 7 7/16" + a subfloor at the bottom of the staircase. The treads are 10". For your info, by code in the US, the maximum height for a riser is 7 3/4".
