Q: We love the exterior of this house plan, and are going to buy it, what is the exterior of this home; i.e. manufacturer, any info would be appreciated. Kindest Regards, SuAnn Walton

A: The rendering shows Sikkens "natural cedar" stained random dimension cedar siding ( need to be kiln dried ) that can come from any local mill. However cedar isn’t necessarily available everywhere so the plans SIMPLY NOTE “modern wood siding”. Any vertical wood siding needs to be installed over cross strapping and building paper to form a rain screen.
