Previous Q & A
Q:I appreciate you getting back to me, but the question was what is the distance from island to the kitchen cabinets where range is located. Thank you Stacey Treadwell
A:The distance from the island sink cabinet to the range cabinet is 5’.
Q:wanted to know what the dimension from the island sink area to the kitchen cabinets.
A:The sink cabinet area is 8’6” x 4”.
Q:My husband and i like this particular floor plan. Before we order it could i ask some questions about the kitchen countertop space? I'm interested in the sq footage. My brother works for a huge tile company and can get me granite for a very good price but I want to send him measurements so I can pick out the one I want. Thank you very much!
A:The kitchen countertop square footage is approximately 53 sq. ft. Please note we do not recommend ordering from this measurement. This is only an approximate. Accurate measurements should be taken during construction once the cabinets have been confirmed with the cabinet maker and accurate measurements have been confirmed on at the job site.
Q:One mor question about plan 40006. Is the heater in the attic? If so, how is it accessed?
A:Yes the HVAC is located in the attic. It is access by a pull down stair that is located in the hallway for the front two bedrooms.
Q:Could you please tell me how wide the patio area is for house plan 40006?
A:13’ wide
Q:I hate to keep bothering you, but I had a few more questions about plan #40006. Is the fireplace real or is just designed for gas logs, and also how wide are the built-ins by the fireplace? Thank you very much
A:The fireplace is a pre-fab fireplace and the built-in are 2'8" wide!
Q:Does the great room have a vaulted ceiling and is there room for the front door to have sidelights?? This is for plan #40006
I had one more question about plan #40006, where is the hot water heater??
A:The ceiling in the greatroom is 9' with no vault. As is there is not enough room for the sidelights at the front door but is can be if you make the front door a 2'8" door and take a couple of inches out of the closet. The rear door at the carport would then have to be 3' to meet code. On the water heater, it is placed in the attic.
