Previous Q & A
Q:Hi, i am narrowing down my last few options this week, and this house plan is looking like the one that most suits what i am looking for. I did have a few more questions though. Do you offer a material list to purchase with the plan? Also the plan has brick on the outside which i am sure will change the dimensions of everything a hair. I assume that my foundation guy and framer can make up for that, but if they want a plan with that modified to have measurements with just normal siding is it possible to get it modified in that manner? Other than that i don't think i have too many other concerns really.
A:Hi, i am narrowing down my last few options this week, and this house plan is looking like the one that most suits what i am looking for. I did have a few more questions though. Do you offer a material list to purchase with the plan? thank you for your interest in our home plan, unfortunately we no longer offer material lists, this can be created most usually by your lumber provider. Also the plan has brick on the outside which i am sure will change the dimensions of everything a hair. I assume that my foundation guy and framer can make up for that, but if they want a plan with that modified to have measurements with just normal siding is it possible to get it modified in that manner? Sure, you would just put in a modification request to have the brick changed to siding.
Q:Ok, i have a 3d rendering software that i can draw the floorplan and do interior 3d rendering i guess if i have to, i am surprised with the cad file a lot of these don't have autocad renderings available. Are you able to give me information on things like what is the floor framed out of, 2x12's, or i joists, and whether it has trusses or stick framed roof, as it doesn't say in the ad. The floor framing is probably the most important as i will not be finishing the basement off the bat and code here says that it has to have drywall on the ceiling with i joists.
A:Good morning, thank you for your interest in our home plan. The floor framing depends on which foundation you choose. If you do choose basement, then we call for 16.5” open web floor trusses. Our roofs are stick frame, but it is up to you and builder if you want trusses or stick frame, if you do prefer trusses then your truss provider would create a framing sheet for you.
