Modern Mountain Home Plan 83321 has 2,872 square feet of living space, 3 bedrooms, and 3.5 bathrooms. Exterior dimensions are 60 feet wide by 56 feet deep. We love the modern elements such as thick vertical beams, dark siding, and modern style garage doors. Window walls admit tons of natural light and allow pristine views of the surrounding mountains (or any other landscape that your property has to offer). Don't miss the patio with sleek glass railing which allows you to enjoy that view outside.
Modern Mountain Home Plan for Hillside Lot
Tired of traditional style homes? No problem because Modern Mountain Home Plan 83321 is all contemporary styling. Firstly, step inside the foyer and marvel at the feature wall and skylights above. Walking forward, the space opens up between the kitchen and great room. The nook (dining space) separates these two major spaces. Fit a long rectangular dining table here in the nook, and it will create a visual separation. The dining table will also "point" to the sliding doors which lead out to the partially covered deck space. We can bet that your family will spend a considerable amount of time outside grilling steak for the adults and hot dogs for the kids.
Secondly, this plan offers rooms which are not always available in smaller homes. For example, going back to the foyer, you will find two rooms including the home office and the designated entertainment room. The home office measures 10 feet wide by 10 feet deep, and it includes built-ins where you can store books and office supplies. The entertainment room measures 16 feet wide by 12 feet deep, and it has some nice windowing in the front corner. Make this into a game room with a billiards table or air hockey table. That way, the kids will always want to be at home.

Thirdly, working spaces are not neglected in Modern Mountain Home Plan 83321. When you turn right after entering the home, you find a convenient half bathroom first. Next, there's a coat closet and bench where you can employ a sliding door. The bench drop zone is a great place to leave bags and shoes, and then you come to the laundry room. It's big enough for washer, dryer, and a utility sink for soaking muddy work clothes or uniforms. These functional rooms are located between the front and garage entrances. Speaking of the garage, it's pre-designed with a layout for fridge, freezer, recycling/garbage center, work bench, and lots of cabinet storage.
Living space in this new construction plan is distracting, but let's not forget the bedrooms. The master bedroom is on the main floor, and you enter the ensuite through a pocket door. There's a dedicated closet for bedding, private toilet room, double vanity, huge walk-in closet, and modern wet room + soaker tub. Downstairs, bedrooms 2 and 3 each boast a private bathroom and coffee bar with fridge. Now that's something you don't find in every home!

What's Included?
Exterior elevations - Elevations will be produced of all four sides of the home showing all exterior finishes, window and door details, lot grading, deck locations, etc. Additional elevations and details may be required on a per plan basis.
Floor plans - The conceptual plans you started off with, now get all of the final detail added into the drawings. The floor plans will go through a comprehensive structural analysis. Any unusual conditions will be specifically noted or referred on to a structural engineer for further analysis. The locations of all elements such as; windows, doors, walls, cabinetry, ceiling details and staircases, will be precisely determined. Interior elevation details of elements such as arches and fireplaces may be produced on a per plan basis or at the direction of our client.
Foundation plan - This drawing will be produced in addition to any basement development plans to specifically note all foundation walls, beam locations, telepost pads, plumbing rough-ins, and foundation steps in one simple and easy to read drawing.
Cross sections - These drawings are intended to show the specific heights and construction of walls, foundations, floors and roof. Multiple sections may be required to fully illustrate the construction of the home.
Roof plan - For complex roof designs especially, a well laid out roof plan will address all roof pitches, overhang depths, fascia sizes and drainage solutions for any valleys in the roof layout.
Building specifications - The specifications are a comprehensive list of all the various materials and standards that the home will be constructed with. Clients can request specific items in their specification or choose a standard set of construction specifications.
Lighting and electrical plans - These optional plans show locations of all the lights, switches and outlets for the interior and exterior of the home.
