Previous Q & A
Q:Is there an attic and if so what is the size?
A:If you put a pull down stair in the hallway between the bedrooms
you’ll have access to an attic size of approx. 28’ x 24’ with 10’ of head room
down the center.
Suzie
Q:Is the CAD compatible with Chief Architect?
A:I’m not familiar with Chief Architect but any CAD program that uses 2005 will open any file that we have. If it uses an older 2002 we would have to save it as 2005 before sending it.
Q:What type of water heater is used and where is it located?
A:This design was drawn for a builder that didn't want us to show placement of the water heater. He wanted to make that call in the field. However, we would suggest putting a pull down stair in the hallway if you plan to use a 30-40 gal tank. If you decide on a tankless it can be placed in the utility area. That decision is usually made between the companies involved and the homeowner.
Common Q & A
Q:Can I make modifications to this plan?
A:Yes you can! Please click the "Modifications" tab above to get more information.
Q:What is the estimated price to build this plan?
A:The national average for a house is running right at $125.00 per SF. You can get more detailed information by clicking the Cost-To-Build tab above. Sorry, but we cannot give cost estimates for garage, multifamily or project plans.
